The Changan Vehicle Production Project in Uzbekistan Is Progressing Steadily
In February 2025, Runking Motor Co. Ltd., the official distributor of Changan, Deepal, and Changan Nevo in Uzbekistan, signed a strategic agreement with Central Asia Motors Co. (CMG) to localize the production of Changan vehicles in the country.
Under this agreement, production of key models such as the Deepal S07, S05, Changan Nevo Q05, and A05 is planned. The project aims to increase the availability of advanced and high-tech vehicles, support domestic manufacturing, and create new jobs.
Since signing, the project has shown steady progress. Preparations for the production launch are actively underway, including technical modernization and personnel training. Experts from both companies are closely collaborating to ensure high-quality assembly and compliance with international standards.
🔧 First Stage: Trial Disassembly into DKD Kits Completed
As part of the first stage, a trial disassembly of a vehicle into DKD (Disassembled Knock Down) kits was successfully completed. This process involves disassembling a fully built vehicle into large components, which are then shipped to the production site for reassembly.
This test operation marked a key step in the localization process and confirmed the team’s readiness to move forward.
Runking Motor Co. Ltd. continues to actively implement the project and aims to present locally assembled Changan vehicles to Uzbek consumers in the near future.
